Travel for Personal Formation 

Travel around Russia: Wander, See, and Fall in Love. Travelling for Personal Formation presents an opportunity to discuss the transfer of spiritual and cultural values from generation to generation.

Questions for Discussion:

• What is wander-travel and how does it differ from tourism?
• What Russia would you like to make available to teenagers who wander-travel? Do we need to speak with them about the tragic pages of our 20th c. history?
• What elements should travel include if we want it to foster love of our homeland?

Discussion Leaders:

• Olga Sinitsina, Head of the Preobrazhenije Centre for Children and Youth.

Teachers and parents who have experience of travel with teenagers, organizers of similar projects and experts in the preservation of Russian traditions will take part in the discussion.
