Living by the Gospel Today

Living by the Gospel in the Modern World is a discussion group which will focus on issues encountered by anyone who reads the gospel with the practical goal of following Christ in mind, rather than just for education, cultural enlightenment or religious research.

Programme:

• Roundtable discussion on “how to move from reading the Gospel to practicing the Gospel in your life?”
• Small group discussion and Gospel reading.

Questions for discussion:

• Should we look for answers to all our life questions in the Gospel or only make recourse to it in particular cases? In which cases?
• What problems and difficulties do we encounter in the process of reading the Gospel text?
• What helps or hinders us in putting the Gospel to practice in our lives?

Both priests and laypeople will take part in the discussion.
