THE ANNUAL ORTHODOX “TRANSFIGURATION MEETINGS” FESTIVAL

Two days of fellowship dedicated to things of ultimate importance – a possibility to see how the church lives and what she breathes, to meet with people from various different confessions, of different ages, social groups and educational backgrounds. A chance to share your inspiration with those who are searching for the fullness of Christian life and life in the Church.

  • WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

    Because Russian society not only has the right, but also the obligation, to know that aside from the primitive natural “dog-eat-dog” survival instinct, there exist other laws of life, and that even in our reasonably difficult circumstances it is possible to live a worthy, Christian life. 

  • What does "A TIME OF PEACE" mean?

    A time of peace is a time to build our future. To search for the spiritual dimension of Peace, without which no human effort at peacemaking can be successful. To unite those who love peace rather than war, who are searching for friends rather than enemies, who are interested in life and not in politics, and those who have an authentic experience of reconciliation, both within the church and within society. 

  • WHO WILL VISIT THIS FESTIVAL? 

    Anyone who wishes. The last Transfiguration Meetings festival brought together 2000 participants from Russia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Romania and other countries. This year we expect even a larger crowd!
