People suffer from loneliness in the modern world. Children, the elderly, young people and the middle-aged, people who are well integrated into society and the handicapped, some of whom find it extremely difficult to successfully integrate – all are lonely in their own way. Each one of us can take a step toward overcoming our own loneliness and the loneliness of others.

How can we all, being so different from each other, learn to live together? How do we take that first step in the direction of another person, and help each other to into friendly and neighbourly relationship?
