Witness through the world of art is one of the shortest routes to a person’s heart. Poetry and literature, music and visual arts, and theatre and film tell us about struggling and suffering in hope, about pain, about truth, goodness and beauty. These things are able to bring a person to real faith.

Workshops: From Culture to a meeting with Christ 

· For those who are gathering various experiences of creativity for the purpose of bearing witness to Christ, and also for who want to learn how to do this.
· The workshops will be arranged in various sections, which will include literature and poetry, music, trips and excursions and film clubs.

17:00–18:00

Discussion: Perspectives on Witnessing by means of Culture 

· Culture for culture’s sake, or culture for the propagation of the Church? What are the criteria for effective witness?
· What helps and what hinders a person in the acquisition of faith? What topics most touch modern man?
· What do we Orthodox most lack in our witness?
